When you make room for (affirm) the deviate student, tolerating deviancy in the classroom, deviancy becomes the norm. Using psychology (the dialoguing of opinions to a consensus) in the classroom 'changes' the student, i.e., establishes his or her carnal nature, i.e., love of pleasure and hate of restraint over and therefore against God's authority, i.e., doing the Father's will.

(March 23-30, 2005 issue of Metro Santa Cruz) As was put into praxis by the citizens of Sodom, i.e. abomination and the threat to harm any who got in their way of realizing it ("now will we deal worse with thee, than with them." Genesis 19:9), we find ourselves facing the same attitude from an ever escalating culture of abomination (initiated and sustained by the praxis of psychology).

When you are silent in the midst of unrighteousness, refusing to condemn the thoughts and the actions of the unrighteous, warning them of the consequences of their thoughts and actions, casting them out of the class if they refuse to repent—not condemning the person themselves, God does that—unrighteousness becomes the "norm." Your silence in such a moment reveals your fear of being rejected by others, i.e., your fear of loosing out on the carnal pleasures of the 'moment' or the future you desire, i.e., what you can get out of the situation or person for yourself, which includes approval (affirmation) from them, revealing the unrighteousness within you.
